Ethics for Authors
  • The corresponding author must have the approval of all co-authors before submitting or revising any manuscript version.
  • Submitted manuscripts must represent original, unpublished work not under simultaneous consideration elsewhere (conference abstracts excepted).
  • Plagiarism and self-plagiarism constitute unethical scientific behavior and are never acceptable; all submissions are screened with automated detection software.
  • All prior published work used in the manuscript, including authors’ own, must be properly cited.
  • Criticism of prior work in comments or articles must be professional, substantive, and free of personal attacks.
  • Authors are obligated to notify the Editor-in-Chief immediately if a reported finding is later found to be erroneous, so that corrective action can be taken.
